Posted on 05 March 2014

Sound bars are becoming increasingly popular nowadays. This is mainly because they are compact and easy to use. Sound bars can be set up on the top of a television or a monitor. Moreover, the sound quality of a sound bar is excellent for its size. Vizio has recently introduced a new sound bar. This is the Vizio S4221w-C4 and it is exceptional beyond words. The Vizio S4221w-C4 offers everything from good sound quality to a superb design. Let’s look at Vizio’s sound bar in detail:

One of the best aspects of the Vizio S4221w-C4 is the design. The main aim of sound bars is to blend in. This is exactly what this sound bar does. Its unique design gels in with your TV or monitor easily. The Vizio S4221w-C4’s design incorporates a large speaker grille. The black grille is complemented by a metal strip at the bottom. One of the best aspects of this sound bar is the LED notification lights. These lights help you keep track of the input you are using and also the volume level.

The subwoofer of the Vizio S4221w-C4 is wireless. This enables you to place it anywhere in the room. There are quite a few features in this sound bar which are incorporated to improve convenience. One such feature is the display on the remote. If you have a large room, you can’t look at the notification LEDs on the sound bar. This is why the Vizio S4221w-C4’s remote has a display on the remote itself.

With this remote you can view the features, volume and modes available on the sound bar. There are four-input jacks on the Vizio S4221w-C4. This enables you to connect a number of devices to it. Moreover, the sound bar is also Bluetooth enabled.

All in all the Vizio S4221w-C4 is a great sound bar for its price. It is priced at only $249.99.

Lenovo Introduces Its Miix 2

Posted on 03 March 2014

Lenovo is currently at the top of their game in manufacturing hybrid laptops and tablets. One of the best gadgets by Lenovo was the Miix. The top-of-the-line tablet provided immense functionality when combined with its portable keyboard. This year, the company has taken the market by storm with the Miix 2. The specifications, functionality and design of this gadget promise a lot more than the original Miix. Let’s look at what the company is offering with the new Miix 2:
The original Miix is a great device, no doubt. However, the detachable keyboard had an odd design which didn’t appeal to some individuals. The Miix 2 has conquered all aspects of a detachable keyboard. The keyboard of the Miix 2 doesn’t have any support to attach the tablet to it. Moreover, the tablet can be docked onto the keyboard in either position.

The standard position is the tablet facing the keyboard. This gives you a laptop-like experience. However, the tablet can also be flipped. This will allow the keyboard to act as a stand. You can enjoy media playback while the tablet is docked on the keyboard. The Miix 2 is a truly a great device, not only in terms of looks, but also specifications.

The tablet itself boasts an array of topnotch features. The processor of the tablet is an Intel Core i5 and has a RAM of 8GB. The RAM in the Miix 2 is DDR3. The storage capacity of the Miix 2 is more than enough for a tablet. The device has 256GB worth of storage. The storage medium is SSD. There are tons of extra features along with the standard ones.

The Miix 2 is equipped with an HDMI port, USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and Wi-Fi. There are some models which support 3G as well. The front camera is a decent 2-megapixel, while the rear is a 5-megapixel.

Lenovo has announced that the Miix 2 will be up for grabs in April 2014 and will be priced around $699.
