At the every least it looks a hell of lot like one. Not really sure if that’s good or bad. I’m still baffled as to wear the Hybrid CRV is, but hey maybe it’s in the works too. Left Lane News has a slew of spy photos of the new Insight. Check em out.

Just what the hell Mercurial Vapor Shoes are I’m not sure. But Nike’s new ad pits Cristiano Ronaldo (wearing a pair) against the Bugatti Veyron. Man verses machine. Sounds silly art first until you see the short distance they’re racing, and the fact that they have to stop and run back (the Bugatti uses reverse). So maybe it is possible for a runner to beat a Bugatti.

A lot of people might not think there is a whole lot of ‘tech’ in clothing. That couldn’t be further from the truth. When it comes to design and construction of today’s athletic clothing there is a ton of ‘tech’ going on. This month’s issue of Fast Company features a great article on the rapid innovation process that Nike, Adidas, Speedo and others have gone through to prepare products for top Olympic athletes.

From shoes that only turn left to others that are assembled like a suspension bridge, the level on innovation is amazing. And the best thing is that these clothing innovations make their way to the consumer market within months, even weeks, of debuting at the Olympic games.

Fulfill your childhood fantasy by living inside your own 747 jumbo jet.

<object classid='clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000'codebase='http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0'width='320'height='270'id='yfop'>

As a childhood jet junkie I could think of nothing cooler than living inside a 747. As an adult, it doesn’t hold quite the same allure, but, building a house out of a scrapped 747 - that might be cool. A women in Malibu, CA is building a $2 million ‘green’ house out of a reclaimed 747. She paid just $40K for the jet and hired some green experts to build it out. Check it out.
