Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is thriving to provide cutting-edge smartphones at a low cost. The company launched their R11s handset recently and every aspect of its design is creating a buzz. It wouldn’t be wrong to claim it a mid-range phone with jaw-dropping functionality. Also, Oppo released the handset in two sizes.

The 6.01-inch one is available in Australia only. However, for those who prefer phablets, they can consider buying Oppo R11s Plus with a 6.43-inch display. The company offers futuristic features in a mid-range phone which might make rival smartphone brands run for their money.

Unlike its predecessor, the new Oppo phone comes with reduced bezel size making it appear similar to Huawei Mate 10 pro and Samsung Galaxy S8. The developers removed the home button – a feature common in previous Oppo phones. The new design sports an on-screen navigation bar. You will find a fingerprint sensor placed to the rear of the handset which comparatively works fast than many notable brands.

Although Oppo had introduced face unlock feature long ago on their flagship F5 model, the company has significantly enhanced the speed and performance of the functionality in the R11s incorporating secure facial recognition technology.

You will get a combination of a micro SD and a dual SIM slot on the right side with thin edges. For music fans, Oppo incorporated a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus, the phone has 64GB of onboard storage.

Moreover, Oppo has also worked on creating a durable and scratch-resistant screen for people who often drop their phones – so no need to worry anymore. The fantastic 3,200mAh battery lasts up to eight hours and doesn’t take long to fully charge.

For the camera, Oppo is still ahead of various brands with a 20MP front-facing camera aiming to improve your selfie experience – and the phone comes with pre-installed with beautify.
