​Fitbit Versa Smartwatch Review

Fitness junkies would be delighted to learn that Fitbit has launched the Versa – a fitness watch with improved quality, design, and battery life. It shares the same functionality as of its predecessor and the company’s flagship model – the Fitbit Ionic.

The Versa has given a fresh look and comes in silver, rose gold and black. The company has termed it as Squircle due to its square shape and round edges. The Versa doesn’t weighs that much compared to other fitness watches and is super comfortable to wear – you can wear it for hours on end without being irritated. That is because the designers have used anodized aluminum and ultra-thin casing for large and small wrists alike.

The material doesn’t make it look cheap and the product is a definitely a trendy and valuable addition to your workout attire. Moreover, on the left side, Versa has back/wake-up button and a “finish workout” button and two small pause buttons on the right side – all are ergonomically placed.

Another very important thing to look for in fitness wrist wearables is the ease of taking the product off and putting it on – and how comfortable the strap is. There is no question your experience with the Fitbit Versa will be awesome as it comes with interchangeable straps and you can replace them with silicon, fabric, or even colored metal to add more style.

The display offers vibrant colors. It is worth noting that its brightness goes up to 1,000-nits and it will remain visible in daytime and underwater as well facilitating your workout session. Now, you can go swimming wearing Fitbit Versa without giving it a second thought.

Also, the touchscreen functions well and does not have latency issues like previous devices. You can also track various exercises via the exercise app and it will provide necessary information such as distance, time, burned calorie intake, calories burned, etc. In all, investing in a device that provides splendid overall performance on a budget doesn’t seem a bad idea.

​Bose QuietComfort 35 II: Wireless Smart Headphones

The Bose QC 35 II is an improved version of the original wireless headphone. However, the device is no integrated with a convenient – ‘action button’ that will allow you to connect with Google Assistant without even touching your phone. This innovation will surely attract music fans. Also, Bose has opted for the Google Assistant integration for the first time and it is undoubtedly a smart move.

Now you can perform daily tasks, receive texts, and play music simply with your voice. All you need is to press and hold action button and begin a conversation with Google Assistant. The headphone is also compatible with the smart devices – if you have any in the house.

It is worth noting that you don’t need Google Assistant to activate noise-cancellation. You can simply connect it with the Bose Connect app using the action button to activate noise-cancellation settings via the same app. There are two levels of noise cancellation you can set, high and low.

Not to mention the device offers top-notch noise canceling. The Bose QuietComfort goes up to 20 hours with active noise canceling and in wireless mode. With the passive mode, you can still use the headphone in case the battery is running out when you need it. Moreover, an interesting update is that you can still hear your voice in the headphones when you are wearing them and you don’t need to take them off.

​LG Gram 15 Review: Lightweight, Slim and Durable

LG launched just launched the Gram 15 laptop. The machine weighs comparatively lighter than the company’s previous flagship ultrabook. The new device combines cutting-edge specs with an elegant design. It is worth noting that the laptop isn’t designed for gaming and watching movies. The company has integrated some futuristic features including a splendid battery life to cater the needs of students and professionals.

You will find various minor updates on the design making it appear distinctive from previous laptops. The designers have replaced their brand logo with the gram logo and pushed the webcam above the screen.

They have redesigned the power key and incorporated a fingerprint scanner which works faster as compared to typing a password. Unlike rival brands, developers used nano carbon magnesium for the body. Also, you will find a small bezel around the screen – enhancing the aesthetics of the machine as a whole.

The trackpad and keyboard are similar to LG’s previous laptops. The keyboard is a full-size chiclet, comes with a numpad located at the right side. You may find some keys smaller than average such as the enter key. The trackpad is smooth and perfect-sized. It is responsive and supports multi-finger gestures without any problems.

The screen is quite decent with a Full HD (1920 x 1080). Also, the Gram 15 sports a 255cd/m maximum brightness – making the machine ideal for outdoor use.

There no denying that LG laptops are amongst some of the favorites because of their excellent battery performance with some models with a battery life of 12 hours on full charge. However, this time, the developers enhanced the battery life on the flagship series by integrating a 72Wh up from the 60Wh battery. The brand claims that it will last up to 16.5 hours on a full charge – now that is awesome!

​Apple iPad 9.7-inch Review: Like and Unlike Any Computer

Tech giant Apple has just launched their 9.7 inch iPad. With an attractive design and fantastic battery life, Apple’s iPad will make rival brands run for their money. You will find similarity in aspects such as the dimensions (9.4 x 6.6 x 0.29 inches), weight (1.03), stereo speakers, and Touch ID home button of the product. The sleep/wake key sits at the top of the tablet and the volume key is placed next to it. Also, the lightning port is located at the bottom between the speakers.

The audio isn’t as loud as the previous iPad and you might need to connect Bluetooth speakers to the device for a better sound experience. The iPad sports a 2,048 x 1,536 pixel resolution. Not to mention, the resolution is low as compared to rival brands. The display still looks sharp, vibrant, and colors appear bright in daylight. The 9.7-inch size iPad has grippy texture and is easy-to-hold. Due to its compact size, you can even fit it into handbag.

There is no denying that the new iPad performs well. You can depend on it regarding everyday tasks. With a faster processor, you can use multiple applications at the same time and not worry about the device slowing down even for a millisecond. Play games, watch movies or listen to your favorite songs – the new iPad is a things of beauty. Also, working with Apple pencil on 9.7-inch iPad is similar to using it on an iPad Pro. You may find it works faster on the iPad Pro as compared to 9.7-inch.

However, the Apple pencil works smoothly on the 9.7 version and you can use it for writing or drawing. The battery life is quite impressive as it will only go down to 61% quickly after constant browsing, gaming, and YouTube binging for more than five hours. You will not find fast or wireless charging feature on the device whereas rest of the specifications makes it a top-notch gadget available currently.

​Asus Zephyrus M (GM501) Review: Laptop for Gamers

The Asus ROG has launched its slimmest laptop yet – the Zephyrus M GM501; it is a worth laptop for gamers! It is safe to say that the machine is an improved version of previous Zephyrus laptops. The device has a slick and unique chassis and has enhanced audio and keyboard qualities. You will find it performing comparatively better compared to notebooks with Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU and 8th Gen Core i7 coffee lake processors.

Asus has kept the exterior simple yet elegant. The laptop comes in Black Titanium – with a two panel lid – vertical striations and horizontal lines giving the device a two-tone effect. The exterior seems quite similar to the brand’s previous flagship device. You will find significant updates in the interior such as the digital touchpad, which they moved along with the keyboard and placed in the center of the deck.

The developers have incorporated Nvidia G-Sync technology as well, which reduces screen latency and tearing. With awesome video qualities, Asus has also significantly improved the audio quality of the machine and you can experience surround sound and fantastic bass as the device is integrated with Sonic Radar 3 software.

​HP ZBook x2 G4 Review

The ZBook x2 isn’t a regular tablet. It is a 2 in 1 mobile workstation that comes with a detachable keyboard. You can use it as a laptop or a tablet – and it comes with Wacom and a touch pen input enabling you to perform a variety of different tasks. The company claims their flagship laptop series is designed to rival top-notch machines such as the Microsoft Surface Pro. It comes with 32GB RAM and can handle a heavy workload. Although the machine is a Quadro-based workstation, you can optimize it for various major applications like 3D CAD.

The laptop is also ideal for digital artists, photographers, and for a variety of different, creative purposes. It is a remarkable solution for Adobe Creative Cloud application users. It will cater to your needs if you require hardware color profiling and the Adobe RGB gamut coverage for intricate digital brushwork.

The HP ZBook display comes in two versions; one with DreamColor and one without it. The DreamColor version offers accurate Adobe RGB rendering, with an extreme brightness of 340 nits along with a black-level of 0.23 nits. You will get 1,500:1 contrast and up to 2.2 gamma curve. The version is incorporated with sRGB/bt.709, DCI-P3, DICOM profiles.
