Say hello to HP’s new and improved Spectre x360 – a laptop with enhanced performance and stylish design. If you are tired of thick and heavy machines, this latest release may be very appealing for you. HP has come up with an improved version in its spectre category. Tech enthusiasts have stated that it could compete with high-end machines such as Lenovo Yoga 920 and Microsoft’s Surface Book 2.

HP Spectre x360 is beautifully designed with silver aluminum, a speaker griller, and shiny buttons. You will find a slot for microSD card on the left top of the laptop. The latter comes with an embedded power button with light-indication. Plus, it has a USB 3.1 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The right side of the machine is equipped with fingerprint sensor, two USB-C ports with thunderbolt 3, and a volume rocker. You will not find multiple port slots on the laptop, there are USB type-A and C integrated so that you don’t have to constantly switch ports. Moreover, you can now also use the thunderbolt 3 port to charge the laptop.

The Spectre x360 weighs 2.78 pounds and measures around 12.04 x 8.56 x 0.53-inches. That makes it a light-weight and compact laptop that is super easy to carry. It could become an ideal machine for university students and as well as for professionals.

Moreover, the fun part is that you will find two hinges above the speaker grille. They allow the laptop to rotate 360-degrees while switching modes. You can use this functionality to transform the Spectre x360 from laptop to tablet as well. These hinges are unbelievably smooth and enable smooth and unhindered screen movement.

The machine comes with the HP Pen, which is a pleasant addition. HP has done a significant work in this area allowing the stylus to function with the Windows 10 ink – so taking notes has now become more incredible. Plus, you can also use the stylus draw various figures. You will also observe that the interaction of spectre x360 and stylus is coherent. All in all, a recommended purchase!
