Lenovo Yoga 720: 15″ 2-in-1 Laptop

The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a convertible laptop that comes packed with a variety of features. For instance, it’s robust, yet slender metal framework is lightweight, weighing just 2.9 pounds. Considering the fact that it is 0.6 inches (14.3 mm) thick; this makes it 13% lighter and 17% thinner than its predecessor.

Alternatively, the brightly backlit keyboard sports a Windows Precision touchpad. The screen, permitting a 180 degree rotation, can be converted into a tablet. The keyboard, in turn, is deactivated while in tablet-mode.

While it is only available in Platinum silver, it appeals to both domestic users, with its aesthetic design, and to people in the corporate sector given its sleek, professional look.

One of the two USB Type-C ports incorporated on the left side of the chassis supports Thunderbolt 3 technology for high speed connectivity. Also found on the left side is the headphone jack with the USB 3.0 port and the power button on the right. Apart from that, wireless connectivity includes both Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi.

The 2-in-1 is equipped with a seventh generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor, with 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD; these specs ensure that even the most impatient users can buy this without having to worry about lagging.

When compared to the Apple MacBook Air, although they look and weigh the same, the features surrounding the Yoga 720 make the Air seem obsolete: a full HD-IPS touch screen, with edge-to-edge glass and a minimal bezel, the 180 degree screen rotation, to mention a few. Not to forget the fact that it is pen-enabled, which allows the user to both draw and write on the screen. Also it is $100 dollars cheaper than the Air, considering it starts at around $800.

The 13-inch Lenovo Yoga 720 comprises of a multitude of features, with its sleek, attractive design, its lightweight, its sturdy stature. Its blisteringly fast storage is an added bonus. It offers all of these and more, the additional perk being an impressive price-tag.
