Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro – a Unique Design With a Built-in Projector

Looking for a stand out tablet is not as difficult as it was before. The range of tablets available in the market makes it impossible for an individual to choose the right one. However, Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro promises to be one of the most innovative tablets released this year. It is one of the very first tablets to incorporate its very own built-in projector.

Design
The tablet is quite similar to its predecessors. However, it may seem a bit odd due to the rounded spine that houses its built-in projector. It also has its own rear kickstand to make it stand upright. The device is quite sturdy and is easier to use than the previous models. What’s interesting is that the tablet can also be hung thanks to a square hole located in the middle.

The power button is located on the left edge, along with the micro-USB port, headphone jack and volume rocker. The projector is located on the opposite end, along with its own power button. Considering its build and design, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is quite heavy and can get tiring to hold onto.

Features and Specifications
The tablet runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 and is equipped with various pre-installed apps. Its custom UI is better than the one found in previous Yoga tablets. It houses an Intel Atom 1.86 GHz quad-core processor along with 2 GB of RAM.

Even though it comes with 32 GB of internal storage space, you do have the option to expand its storage capabilities with a microSD card. The tablet’s specifications allow it to perform exceptionally well and allow you to take advantage of its multi-window function. Its 13 inch screen boasts a bright and sharp screen resolution and its battery life is just as effective as the tablet itself.

The projector performs relatively well even though it’s not as bright as it should be. You do not have access to a variety of options and thus may find it difficult to get the focus right. The few projector settings that have been provided only allow you to adjust brightness or fix distortions.

Conclusion
Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is unique and does deliver on its promises. The hybrid does bring something new to the table and will inspire others to do the same as well. Until then, it is your best option for an all-in-one experience and is perfect for home use.
