If you’re thinking about getting the iPhone 6 Plus, think again. There are quite a few smartphones that come close to the iPhone and the features that it has to offer. However, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus seems to be one of the very first smartphones to have outdone the latest iPhone.

A month after the launch of the Honor 6, the Chinese smartphone maker decided to up its game with the Honor 6 Plus. If you wish to learn more about it, read on.

Design
There is more to the Honor 6 Plus than a couple of hardware upgrades. It does share its glass design with the Honor 6, but it outdoes its predecessor at the same time. With a metallic strip running down the sides, it is considerably larger and is equipped with two cameras on the back. However, same may argue that it does look incredibly similar to the iPhone 5S. This is not necessarily a bad thing as most Chinese manufacturers gladly pay homage to the iPhone to target a larger market audience than ever before.

Features and Specifications
The Honor 6 Plus is bundled with impressive features and specifications. After buying one of these babies, it is highly unlikely that you’ll have any performance issues whatsoever. It comes equipped with an incredible octa-core processor that is power efficient at the same time.

Similar to the iPhone 6 Plus, it comes with a 5.5 inch display that offers a stunning 1920 x 1080 resolution. With 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, it offers an incredible and smooth experience. Additionally, you also have the option to expand its memory capabilities with a microSD card.

Even though its dual camera setup is quite similar to the HTC One M8, it lacks some key features including optical zoom. You may be taking pictures at 8 megapixels, but they turn out incredibly detailed. Moreover, the front-facing camera is an 8 megapixel shooter as well, which is quite rare to come across.

The best thing about this smartphone is its incredible battery life. It is powered by a 3600mAh battery and runs on Android KitKat 4.4. Even though it does not make use of the latest Lollipop update, Huawei’s overlay offers an incredible experience that is similar to the iPhone.

Conclusion
The smartphone is expected to be released soon and will be available in three different colors including gold, white and black. The phone has a lot of potential and to some extent does outperform the iPhone. Many people may consider it to be nothing more than a cheap knock off, but it has all the makings of an iPhone killer.
