Lenovo’s Tabletop PC Now Available For Less

Posted on 27 April 2014

Keeping in mind that the Lenovo Flex 20’s specifications are not extraordinary in any sense of the word, most people don’t consider it as a viable option for buying a tabletop PC. Yet, what they don’t realize is that it is among the most affordable portable tabletop PCs available on the market today. The 20-inch PC is battery-powered and has a long useful life, which further makes it worth the price. Here’s an overview of the features and specifications of this PC.

The initial configuration included an Intel i7 processor and cost around $900 but using an Intel i3 processor has brought down the price to $749. It comes equipped with 4GB RAM and a standard 500GB hard disk drive. However, the screen resolution, 1600 x 900, is comparatively lower than other options available on the market, but is the best for the price range.

It has benefitted from post-holiday sales which is not surprising as Lenovo has always been keen on providing value with an affordable price tag. The design is quite simple and standard like their other products but the finishing and use of aluminum to manufacture the PC gives it an expensive look. It also has a battery as mentioned before for short-term use without having it plugged in and a kickstand to allow for a better view.

Just like any PC, it comes with the usual support of software and ports for USB data access. But one should note that the options to upgrade the PC are rather limited. Once you get it, it will remain pretty much the same throughout its useful life. Considering that it is comparatively as good as any of its competitors, it’s a perfect investment for a product with value. If you want to buy an affordable tabletop PC, the Lenovo Flex 20 is your best option.
