Sony has been revolutionizing the technological industry for more than 20 years now. It has released numerous electronic devices from TV, Computers, Gaming Systems and most noticeable, the smartphone series. Formerly known as Sony Ericsson which was a division of Sony, it dealt with cell phones and smartphones now taken over officially by the head company itself. Xperia is the label which is given to the smartphone series that are released under the company. Dozen sets are already out in the market with each one having more advance features when compared to previous releases. After the recent success of Xperia A and ZR, Sony once again takes the leap by launching another version, the new Xperia UL.

  • It has a 5 inch HD display screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution
  • 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal that is expandable up to 64 GB
  • 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad core processor and not the Snapdragon 600 as was rumored before
  • 13 MP camera which can capture at least 15 frames per second
  • Camera also contains Exmor RS autofocus mechanism with LED flash
  • Connectivity functions like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, LTE, NFC and Infrared
  • It contains a 2300 mAH battery which runs longer as compared to other smartphones

So far it will be made available in Japan as due on 25th May 2013 in three colors namely white, black and pink. The dust and water proof screen and camera lens allows you to take full advantage of this smartphone without fearing for it getting deteriorated and dirty.
