Top Gear Season 13 Hits the Air January 25th

Posted on 31 December 2009

Our passion for all things Apple is rivaled only for love of Top Gear. So we’re elated that BBC America will roll out season 13 at the end of January. Granted we’ve caught most of the season on Youtube, but nevertheless, we’ll be watching on the big screen in just a few weeks. Here’s a quick highlight roundup someone put together for the new season. Welcome back Jeremy, Hamster and Captain Slow.

Apple iSlate Coming January 26th?

Posted on 31 December 2009

Well, we’re guessing at the name ‘iSlate’, but it seems the Apple tablet may be debuting on January 26, 2010. Fox News reports Apple’s intent to make some form of announcement on the 26th. This all makes sense considering Apple is no longer showing at the Macworld Expo, so a direct announcement, or event, at Cupertino may fill the void for product debuts – though I wonder how effective these may actually be without the Macworld frenzy present.

The other rumored tablet name is iGuide – which I like even less than iSlate. But my curiosity is peaked. There have been the typical rumors out of China about manufacturing and unit orders (10 million rumored), but I tend to disregard a lot of that stuff. Other then of course blogging on it (hah). But everyone tends to believe anything when it comes to Apple and product debut hype. So I guess we’ll have to wait it out a little longer to see the giant iPhone.
